EVOTECH STD-021 ANITCAIDA PROTECTORS

Damped crash protectors, designed and manufactured in such a way that in the event of a fall, the impact is absorbed by the protector instead of being transmitted directly to the chassis of the motorbike. In the event of a fall, the slider is embedded in the protector block with a calibrated spacer of increasing diameter, causing an increase in the deformation of the slider which absorbs the energy of the impact. Both laboratory tests and practical track tests show a significant decrease in the stress transmitted to the chassis compared to other protectors on the market. The slider is made of a special technopolymer, which combines high impact absorption and high abrasion resistance due to its low coefficient of friction with the asphalt. Thus, the protector slides with the asphalt without excessive material consumption or dangerous rollover. The aerodynamic shape of the skid plates not only gives the bike a more aggressive styling, but also minimises the possibility of the slider getting stuck on an obstacle. The sliders are engraved with a graduated scale to give an indication of the force of impact in the event of a fall. The main block is made of aircraft aluminium and finished with black anodisation for maximum durability. Its diameter and cross-section have been calibrated to reduce stress to the chassis in the event of a fall.
