iLogger easy - telemetry and data acquisition system

The iLogger easy from healtech Electronics is an advanced data acquisition system for motorcycles and other vehicles.

It offers functionality normally only seen in much more expensive systems and is unique in offering an easy to use app for configuration, analysis, comparison and viewing of real time data.

The iLogger can record data from multiple sensors and is an extremely useful tool for analysing your performance on the track, at any given time.

Features

App (Android/iOS)

All configuration of the iLogger is done via the app over Wifi. The app generates its own Wifi hotspot ("iLogger") to connect to your mobile device.

Data Acquisition - Nine Channels

Four Dedicated Input Channels

RPM: Engine speed. Configurable for any RPM/frequency related signal such as crankshaft position ("Pickup") sensor, camshaft sensor, coil signal...

VSS: Vehicle speed. Configurable for any type of speed sensor: 3-wire, 2-wire induction, 2-wire current sensing.

BAT: Battery voltage

GPS: GPS position using the included GPS sensor

Five Analog Inputs

Any of the five inputs can be configured to receive a variety of signal types such as DC voltage, throttle position, gear engaged, a simple switch, pressure/temperature/linear sensors, or an ARA (traction control) sensitivity control switch.

If more inputs are needed, an expansion module is available.

OUT Output Control

There is also an output channel to control an external device such as an LED for status indication.

Data Analysis

The recorded data is downloaded to the app via Wi-Fi, where it can be compared to time or distance and used as a lap timer.

The race track is automatically mapped using the high-precision GPS sensor. A map view can also show the actual track position compared to data values ​​at precise times.

The app can compare previous sessions and even data from other iLoggers – so no more arguing about who was fastest!

Real-Time Dashboard

The app can be used as a dashboard for real-time display of data. This allows you to use your mobile device as an additional dashboard.

Various dashboard skins are available to suit most tastes, such as lap timer, RPM/gear indication and drag racing. Custom skins are available on request.

ARA Traction Control

A switch (not included) can be used with one of the analog inputs to adjust the sensitivity of a Healtech ARA traction control module linked to the iLogger. The current sensitivity is displayed on the app dashboard.

The ARA supplies some real-time values ​​to the iLE to be recorded with the other data. This gives even more details about your riding, such as when and why ARA interventions occur.

Compatibility

The iLogger is a universal device and can operate with supply voltages from +8v to +20v.

The app requires a minimum of Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or iOS 11.0.
