This effect is achieved by a microchip that encodes/decodes the communication between the ECM (control unit) and the clock cluster in real time. This feature of the X-TRE is unique, as other TRE devices on the market disable the stock gear indicator.
The X-TRE improves engine response at partial and wide open throttle; improves torque; ignores the speed limit on all Suzuki (electronic fuel injection) 1000cc or larger and adds up to 15 horsepower (for example, in second gear on the B-King).
The device is automatically deactivated in neutral to ensure a normal idle
In the same way as the GIpro, the X-TRE allows you to select between several injection maps, to offer the same flexibility and results. But it is now with the X-TRE that bikes that already have a stock gear indicator can get the same benefits without removing the stock gear indicator. Still, we know that many customers will still prefer the GIpro for the visibility of its LED display or because their bike does not have a stock gear indicator, as the Gipro/ATRE remains the best possible option on the market.
The unit is mounted under the fuel tank, hidden, but its innovative design allows you to check the map in use and make "buttonless" shifts, while sitting on the bike.
The X-TRE is compatible with electronic devices such as the Power Commander or a Speedohealer.
