The Race-Tech silencer was the first diamond-shaped exhaust that in recent years has replaced the “old style” of traditional cylindrical or elliptical exhausts. The innovative shape of the diamond design allowed Arrow to reduce the dimensions of the traditional shape, while maintaining the same outlines. This allowed Arrow to reduce weight without affecting internal volume and to keep noise levels within acceptable limits without interfering with performance. The internal components of the silencers are produced in stainless steel and coupled with TIG welding technology. All the “wet” sections (those where gas flow occurs) are kept under strict dimensional control to optimize gas flow. A very important feature is the rear termination and the gas outlet: these components are designed to optimize the exit of the gas flow free of turbulence, reducing the negative effects of pressure. The Race-Tech line silencers are available in homologated versions for almost all motorcycles. These silencers are made of titanium, carbon fibre or aluminium. For some motorcycles, the titanium silencer is also available with the new carbon fibre finish.
