MWR High Performance Air Filter for: F4 / F4R / F4RR → MY '10/'12

To install the "HE" filter, you need to make two modifications (see also photos)

1) Remove the peculiar plastic tube from the top of the air box

2) Cut the iron mesh of the installation frame so that it is completely open

Once this is done, you can install the "HE" filter without problems

The MWR High Efficiency Air Filter for road and racing motorcycles. The aim of this revolutionary design is to reduce intake noise and, even more, power delivery. This design has demonstrated a reduction of up to 8 db compared to other filters for sports motorcycles.

Unlike all other sport filters, the "HE" filter creates a much better and even airflow to all cylinders, which means that you need to adapt the fuel supply of all cylinders separately to achieve the maximum effect of the "HE" filter. It affects all twin-cylinder, V-twin, three-cylinder, four-cylinder and V-four engines.

Remapping of the ECU or fuel control module is recommended.
